Refund Policy

1. Scope
This policy applies to miilink Pro and miilink Business monthly subscriptions purchased through Paddle.com Inc. (our Merchant of Record). The Free tier and the Ad-supported tier (which unlocks features via ad viewing rather than payment) are not subject to this policy.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime at Settings → Billing. After cancellation you keep paid features until the current billing period ends; you will not be charged for the next cycle. Cancellation alone does not trigger a refund.
3. Refund Eligibility
We grant refunds in the following cases:
- First 7 days of initial subscription: If this is your first time upgrading to Pro or Business, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your first payment for that tier (one-time per tier).
- Duplicate charges or technical issues: Full refund if you were charged in error, or if the service was unusable and we could not resolve it in a reasonable time.
- After 7 days: We generally do not refund the current paid cycle. Cancel at Settings → Billing to avoid future charges.
4. How to Request
Email the contact below with:
- Your miilink account email
- Paddle order ID (in your Paddle receipt)
- Reason for the refund
We respond within 3 business days.
5. Processing Time and Method
Once approved, Paddle processes the refund within 5-10 business days via the original payment method (credit cards to the original card, bank transfers to the original account). Actual time of credit depends on your card issuer or bank.
6. Legal Basis and Disputes
- Per Taiwan Consumer Protection Act § 19-1, digital content services are exempt from the 7-day cooling-off period; our first-7-day refund offer is more generous than required by law.
- Refund disputes that cannot be resolved bilaterally are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan); the Taipei District Court has jurisdiction.
- For credit card disputes, please contact us first — initiating a chargeback directly may delay refund processing.
